Possible Scenarios for Subject Exemption.

Possible Scenarios for Subject Exemption.

 Welcome To JNTUH EXAM UPDATES!

Hi guys as you all know that the subject exemption for the final year R18 students is in news for quite a while now. Students are worried whether they would get the subject exemption or not. In this article let’s try to find the possible scenarios which could happen in the coming days. We have been Closely monitoring this issue for a while now. So, let’s get in to the scenarios which could happen.

1. No Subject exemption: -

Yes, you heard it right. No subject exemption. University is keen on taking this decision and want to end this culture of giving grace marks and subject exemption. As already mentioned in the syllabus that there would not be any subject exemption. University can show this as an excuse and not give any subject exemption. But this is not easy as we think, due to covid and many uncertainties this decision will have a huge impact on students.Only grace marks would be given in the worst scenario.

2. 4 credits and Grace Marks: -

This is the Most likely scenario which is going to happen if there is a subject exemption from university. Here there would be 4 credits which will be exempted and around 8 grace marks will be provided for regular students similarly 4 credits and 6 grace marks for lateral students. This would be a kind of relief to students if announced. Most of the news is circulating is that this would be bought in to picture and the rest is on university.

3. 6 Credits and Grace marks: -

This was given for the R16 batch as well so this is in consideration if university feels same and would like to continue this. Then there is a possibility that this would come into picture. This is actually a waste of two credits as we don’t even leave two credits. Majority of subjects are of 4 credits. The grace marks would help if they give 10 grace marks instead of 8 marks.

The above scenarios could be a possibility that could happen in the coming days. We will have to wait for the confirmation from the university itself. The announcement is likely to be made only after final year results. So, students must be with patience till the university takes a decision on it. Moreover, its not yet confirmed that the Subject exemption will be for Only B.tech students or B. Pharm would be included in it. Most likely it would be given to both the students. This even depends on university decision. We will be in touch and try to get the information as soon as possible. Until then stay in touch through Twitter, Telegram, and Instagram so that you can be updated timely.
